Foreword

When you access our website, information about the access (such as date and time, pages viewed, IP address, browser type, and operating system) is automatically collected and stored as log files on our server. This processing is carried out based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the technical operation, security, stability, and optimisation of our website, as well as in detecting and preventing misuse or cyberattacks.

These data are evaluated exclusively for statistical and security purposes and, where possible, in anonymised form.

Log files are deleted after three months, unless longer storage is required for security-related reasons or to comply with legal obligations.

Hosting via Firebase (Google Cloud)

Our website is hosted using Firebase Hosting, a service provided by:

Firebase Hosting uses infrastructure provided by Google Cloud Platform. As part of the hosting service, Google processes technical data (e.g. IP address, request data, and log files) necessary to deliver and secure the website.

Data may be transferred to servers located outside the European Union, including the United States. Please note that the USA does not provide a level of data protection equivalent to that of the EU. Under certain circumstances, US authorities may gain access to such data.

The use of Firebase Hosting is based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure, reliable, and high-performance website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

As a rule, we do not collect personal data when you merely visit our website.
